Semanggi Suroboyo
Semanggi Suroboyo is a very unique and traditional salad. The main ingredient is boiled semanggi (clover) leaves, which are mixed with bean sprouts. The real star is the sauce! It's a sweet and savory dressing made from sweet potato and peanuts. It's usually served on a banana leaf and eaten with krupuk puli (rice crackers). Semanggi Suroboyo holds a special place in Surabaya, so much so there's even a bus line named "Semanggi"

Rawon Setan
Now for something legendary... Rawon Setan! Rawon is a rich, black beef soup. The deep black color comes from the keluak nut, which gives it a uniquely nutty and savory flavor. The name "Setan" (which means devil) was given to this specific stall because it originally opened late at night and was famous for its spicy kick!
